Lake Sugar Tree Motorsport Park

You watched as the rework of our facility began in 1997, and the work continues into '98. The grounds near the starting area were raised for better viewing by the spectators. A tunnel was added in front of the grand stands, allowing for safe access across the track. Our brand new two-story concession stand is nearing completion. This new building will have a complete kitchen, restrooms, including showers and changing areas, as well as offices. All of these changes, along with the newly paved, two-lane road, makes Lake Sugar tree one of the most complete racing facilities in the region.

Challenging for the racers.

		The foundation had been poured and now the plumbing for the first and second floors was being installed.
		The concrete block walls are started.
		The exterior walls are up along with some of the door and window hardware.
		The deck outside the concession windows has been poured. In this picture the track is down to the right.
		The walkway has been poured around the entire building. The second story floor is installed with a walkway and large presentation area overlooking the track.
		Inside the plumbing work continues on the two large restrooms with showers and changing areas.
		The restroom counters, sinks and automatic fixtures are being installed.
		On the other side of the building work continues in the women's restroom.
		The second story roof is framed and dry-walling begins on the second floor office area.
		Back outside you can now see how it is all coming together. Construction of the roof continues as the workers prepare to install the metal sheets.
		As the roof gets close to being finished, the painters start on the exterior walls.
		With the roof finished, painting continues and stairs are installed on both sides of the presentation area.
